A simplified version of the Share.rs website is now up for the MA show next week. You can use it to set up a shopping trip and invite others to share multibuy offers with you:

Exhibition

The multibuy share project will be featured in the NUCA post graduate show in September. The exhibition will open on Friday the 10th of September and last until the following Tuesday, but it will be closed on the Sunday. Opening hours are 10-4, so make the most of your lunch breaks.

Are you thinking that the badge is too small and won’t be noticed? Tell the world you want to share multibuy offers with a bright green reusable bag. On the other side of the bag there is the reminder, “We waste 22% of the food we bring home”. As a short term solution, this bag is 22% smaller.

The bag is available in the shop. If you’re in Norwich and see me in The Window Coffee you can get a bag for a lot cheaper though.

After looking at the results of the polls, Monday is the most popular day for supermarket shopping and Tesco’s by the market the most popular place to do it in.

So here’s an invitation:

Join me tomorrow (24/05) at 17:30 at Tesco’s. I’ll be outside, wearing one of my green multibuy share badges, and I’ll give you one as well. Once inside, find other people with badges and see what ‘buy one, get one free’ offers you can share with them.

Help me get this started. In the long run, it could save all of us quite a bit of money (and it will keep all that food out of landfills too).
